America in 2021

 Might be a duplicate,, If you look throughout history there are only 3 people who ended up great, that I know about,  Constantine, Katherine, and Alexander.  In  the U.S. we had Jackie Gleason, the Great One, and Muhammad Ali,  the Greatest.  Of course, there may be some Greats I am leaving out here,  but that is what comes to mind.   I guess, if you are from the Midwest U.S.  , then everybody else in history  has been mostly pretty good at best.  I take the position that if you examine  closely at the Planck scale of the Universe, you will find vast potentials of  greatness. It's a theory really, but what it really means is, that we all have that potential for greatness or Greatness, within us.  Maybe just in flashes or in a moment, but I think it's there inside of us.  I think we should all be reaching for it. Like they say, if not now, when?

 And so, as political warfare grew hotter and hotter, all sides were forced to scorch earth policies.  What this meant is almost too baroque to imagine, nevertheless, it goes something like this: The right declares that the left is too far to the left and therefore it is necessarily for the right to become the left.  And of course the left retaliates by declaring the right is too far to the right and henceforth, the left would be the right.  All decisions therefore will be made at a 45 degree angle which turns the whole situation into a huge Escher like construction leaving the general public at the very least confused, and like perhaps even a bit panicky.? Who signed up for Escher? But then, who knows, perhaps the ship of state will right itself or else it's ---->>>> Everybody to the life boats !!!! 

 Yes, " something is happening, here ", and although it might not be clear, it does seem to be getting clearer.   I became very nostalgic last night, and I guess I could talk about nostalgia but this morning I listened to a speech from the U.S. Senate. It sounded to me like the voice of reason.  Personally, I think that the voice of reason is even better than raisin bread, reminding me of a youthful John F. Kennedy, and all that. So, I am not sure if this is magic, just like I am not sure if raisin bread is magic or just hard work.  And so, the point from the previous post is or was that humans are quite a remarkable bunch to even have things like records, media, and truth.  And certainly these things have kept us all quite busy for a long, long time ... There, of course, is a lot more to this, as it includes ideas relating to value and what value is.  And of course it is related to how we see things, how we view the world, as well as actions we take. Information, who ever would have thought it might mean  so much. Curious bunch humans,  I might say ...

 So, I just want to be brief, but clearly media and truth are different things. But of course there are records and records and the media are also not the same thing ... An so what is the point ?  You got me ..... If I get the point I will definitely get back to you ...

 And so, we don't get directions confused, if what we are learning is to harden our hearts and build higher walls around ourselves, well guess what ... Then we are going in the --- wrong direction ---

 Certainly the past year has been a tremendous opportunity for learning, even with schools closed.  I think it may be possible for us to enumerate some of the things we have  been able to learn about ourselves and others. There is some optimism that we are " moving " in the right direction.  Optimism is a great thing, but I feel that if we have not used this time to take to heart some of the lessons we have had an opportunity to learn, then perhaps our optimism may not be so well placed. So what are some of the things we have had an opportunity to learn?  Well one thing I think would be that we are surrounded by many courageous folks, and that courage has come from many different arenas of activity. This knowledge also directs us to gratitude.   But it is my opinion the the greatest lesson we have had the opportunity to experience  is compassion.  If we have learned anything about compassion then clearly we are  moving in the right and g...

 This kind of sounds like a duplicate, if so and I find it I will just try and merge them. Anyway, a lot of people, me probably included talk about the system,  and generally talk like there is just " one " system, and often talk about how the system is out to get them ... Well, a bit of reflection may lead you to conclude that in fact there are a lot of systems and a lot of the systems also contain systems. For example, the automobile is a system and contains systems like electrical system (s), breaking system (s), exhaust system (s), etc. But we also think of the car itself as a system and it is also contained in a system, most often referred to as the transportation system. And so it goes.  Now since many systems are in fact connected or related, well, it is maybe okay to talk about the system.  Probably doesn't mean a lot to say that system is out to get you, however. Now, it should also be clear, that all systems seem to break or wear down.  They often need...

 So, I'm not sure who ( Who ) WHO /??? / ever said that ,,, but you know ,,, somebody did ... Anyway, connections ... all the connections ... and numbers ,,,, As they say, number are either over-rated or under-rated,,, not sure ... But, the is mostly about a book my father wrote with  1,000,000 two city combinations ... What's the point, oh I don't know , I guess, sometimes, truth hurts, and you just don't know why ... This was actually a " cross over " ,,, post as it has some weird connection with with " Arrow-o-time " but I lost track of the Episodes. Meanwhile, just so you have an " alternative ",,,, I am going to ask Joe ( Joe Who? ) for $20,000,000,000.00 to re-brand the U.S.A. to something more --- cosmic ?? ---  the military of course will be seriously impacted .... Just kidding ... won't do that ....  so ...

  When I was " younger ",  Ever since - Dylan - My Back Pages - I have had difficulties with that ... Anyway, let's just say,,, my mother took me to Springfield, Illinois, some where where ,,, Lincoln lived, and is buried ... You know, my mother was """" right leaner """ ,,, you know and I served in the Illinois Senate, and tried not to lean, but I don't remember if they segregated pages by " leaning ", in fact I imagine that they mostly wanted you to stand straight ...  That was in the past of course .... So I was just thinking what she might have to say about the man we elected President,,, leaning and all .... Hey, I am enthusiastic, like you know ...
