America in 2021

 Before addressing the above I think it's important to go back to the previous posts and clarify somethings, mostly about fighting. Fighting can be taken in a lot of contexts, but simply I think the primary concept was really about " excessive " violence. I could go on about that , but my primary objective is responding to " currents " , and a collective voice, if it even exists at all might be a kind of " current ". The the main idea is that for hundreds or perhaps thousands of years, one of our key and keen facilities has be to respond to currents.  The simple example is the current of winds and water, which was the source of tremendous progress over time.  Success in managing that would be a voyage of some type, either of discovery or to reach a specific destination, both of which occurred with some frequency.  These two words certainly seem to go together, well, but of course the question arises, How do we sort them out ? Well, every since the oldest man in space arrived there, I guess the question of distinguishing the possible from the impossible  could have become somewhat more difficult.  Actually there has always been an oldest man in space, even if you go back to before there were " men in space " .... But back to sorting the possible from the impossible, we have long had a profession which is mostly about the possible and the impossible and distinguish those. They are generally called " engineers " ...  In order to " properly " sort them, you need to collect as many possible things - as you can imagine - and then collect all the impossible things you can imagine.   And then you have to put them all in a bag or container, and then pull them out, and decide at that moment, whether it's impossible or not. My guess is, you'll get it wrong a lot.

 This focus of this post is mostly about the previous post as well as comments made in Michigan, yesterday by President Biden. To start with a digression: I have spent most of my life concerned with mostly three ideas, 1) simple , 2) normal, 3) solvable as that applies to one  area of mathematics called group theory.  As it turns out these three words as they apply in the domain of group theory are not anything like what they might mean in common speech or thought. As to the previous post , I will simply say it is like walking to the edge of a cliff, at night, with no moon.   You never know do you? The problem of course is the lack of clarity about the key ideas  of collective voice  and what is fighting.  For example, many might say " my " collective voice is saying - fight. So what is the collective voice is not clear, and what is fighting is not clear.  But actually the point was whether we collectively listen or if we are just focused on ...

 And so the issue, as 2021 begins it's whine down toward 2022  is the same issue 20 years ago, 40 years ago, 200 years ago, that is, where is that collective voice representing the vast majority of any collection of humanity however you divide the borders, meaning locally , regionally , nationally or internationally which says :  Stop fighting with each other I think that the collective voice is clearly there.  Do we now, after all this time, have the collective will to actually hear the voice which we collectively create and act upon that.
