Simple or not?
This focus of this post is mostly about the previous post as well
as comments made in Michigan, yesterday by President Biden.
To start with a digression:
I have spent most of my life concerned with mostly three ideas,
1) simple , 2) normal, 3) solvable as that applies to one
area of mathematics called group theory. As it turns out
these three words as they apply in the domain of group theory
are not anything like what they might mean in common speech
or thought.
As to the previous post , I will simply say it is like walking to
the edge of a cliff, at night, with no moon. You never know
do you?
The problem of course is the lack of clarity about the key
ideas of collective voice and what is fighting. For example,
many might say " my " collective voice is saying - fight.
So what is the collective voice is not clear, and what is
fighting is not clear. But actually the point was whether
we collectively listen or if we are just focused on enhancing
or changing the " collective " voice.
So back to President Biden, he made some remarks yesterday.
To begin with, many might say that the President of the U.S.
represents the " collective voice " of the country, meaning of
course the United States. It has been a significant behavior over
the years, of the President of the U.S. saying, let's go to war
i.e. fight, and the primary justification for this is that we are
going to " protect " democracy by this war or fighting. That is
the main justification. We have democracy.
We get back to collective voice, I guess, that is the issue.
Fight for democracy .... is equal to freedom ..
Okay, but at the end of the day or even at the beginning of
the day are we " listening " ??????
Are we listening to each other?
And most important is - who are we fighting?
