Romance, nostalgia, and the environment.
Trying to tie this together, might lead to some catastrophic
digression or something worse. So I am just going to try to stick
to questions.
So, romance, and the question is, who owns romance? Sixty years
ago you might be able to answer with a conglomerate of
Lauren Bacall, Ingrid Bergman, Sophia Loren, Marlon Monroe,
Elizabeth Taylor, Barbra Streisand, or so ... Today, not sure,
but my guess would be, the porcupines. Sounds like, that,
without any digression, could be quite an uncomfortable
comment. Something worse? Trouble.
So as to nostalgia and the environment. Well, to start out with I
think the environment is a good thing. I mean, I think an environment
is better than no environment at all, which leads to nostalgia, as
perhaps that is what we are looking at. No environment at all would
certainly create a lot of nostalgia. Finally, you can connect that
back to romance, as nostalgia does sort of connect back to romance.
