Good, Evil, something else?

 So normally I would say we associate the brain/mind

with thinking or thought, you know.  But seems more 

appropriate to say preoccupation.  Like if you think

about the preoccupation with good and evil.  Pretty

long and pretty big.  Then there is of course good and bad.

Next to that maybe --- God, wouldn't allow that ! ---


But just to make it clear, think about the pyramids in Egypt.

Okay, mostly about good and bad, but of course it turned

out good , I guess, which was good for them probably and of

course good for us as well.  I am sure there was some good and

evil going on , on the side.  Most likely a bit of ---- God, would not

allow that ! --- , as well.


Come to think about it, I think they made a movie on this subject.

Zen and fighting

Well, this has to do with: Bodhidharma    who many believe lived in the area of the Shaolin monaster y . as you see in the above link of the life of Bodhidharma. So, we find an interesting correlation between the concept of " fighting ", and what is considered by many to be "spirituality".   Well, tomorrow is a a big day for Baha'i's throughout the world. the celebration of the ascension , 100 anniversary,   Abdul' Baha   .   Interesting connection, hard to spell both names. Anyway, to me, Zen translates to practice and not necessarily " achievement ", which to my mind is more like a goal, and goals change based on achievements.  Goals are a whole 'nother thing. Is life fair?

 So this is a hard one, and one that you could go on, and on about. I am going to address it from simply three angles. Certainly many will argue that life is NOT fair, mainly because good things happen to bad people and vice versa.  So that is an argument that might suggest, that well, maybe not so fair. However, from the standpoint of biology you might get a different perspective.  In biology the Tree of Life, is a big deal, and I would argue even a bigger deal for biologist, than the Big Bang, for physics.  So the question would come down to are trees fair? Using the metaphor of Tolkien, the trees played a big role in the battle for middle earth, and therefore could definitely be described as the good guys from that narrative.  Beyond that there could be other arguments, that lots of people like trees, and get particular enjoyment from them.
