Well, this has to do with: Bodhidharma who many believe lived in the area of the Shaolin monaster y . as you see in the above link of the life of Bodhidharma. So, we find an interesting correlation between the concept of " fighting ", and what is considered by many to be "spirituality". Well, tomorrow is a a big day for Baha'i's throughout the world. the celebration of the ascension , 100 anniversary, Abdul' Baha . Interesting connection, hard to spell both names. Anyway, to me, Zen translates to practice and not necessarily " achievement ", which to my mind is more like a goal, and goals change based on achievements. Goals are a whole 'nother thing. So back to fighting and Zen, I think it's not hard to put this together. Back to Bodhidharma and Abdul'-Baha, one difference is you can spell check Bodhidharma.
