unity and/or stuff
Having just arrived in this reality from an alternate cartoon, my perspectives may not be quite so right on, nevertheless, I heard the call for unity, and the perspicacious perspective that unity is hard.
It looks something like this to me ... Suppose you have two very strong paddlers in a canoe. Individually they are good, but for some reason these fellows are just not very good at coordinating their strokes. Now suppose further that their canoe is not really the best. It has gashes, it has may not be all that structurally strong, and it may even have a few leaks. Now, in addition these fellows are being pursued by all forms of disasters, like man eating giant octopus, typhoons, hurricanes, tidal waves, and the worse you could imagine.
Further imagine, that these two fellows are not really individuals, but composite personalities made up of millions of you s and me s. Many might be inclined to describe the situation, not so much as hard but in fact maybe " impossible ", and inclined to throw those paddles right up in the air, accept their fate of being eaten by the monster octopus.
So what is to be done? Well to begin with I think we need to believe we can succeed. WE can coordinate those strokes. We can get the craft to safety. That might be difficult. But believing is not all , we need to think, to be strategic and clever, to make efforts, big and small, communicate, imagine ....
In the end we do not know for sure we will succeed. For sure, if we don't try ... well,,,,, I think we need to try.
